Decimal game
MATERIALS:10 by 10 grid paper for each player, 3 dice for the group
GOAL: Shade in all 15 grids on your paper
SET UP: Decide and write down which die will represent ones, which will represent tenths, and which will represent hundredths. (If the dice look the same, you could designate a place to roll each die so that you can tell them apart.)
Each person rolls one die. Player who rolls the highest number goes first; play proceeds clockwise.
DURING YOUR TURN: Roll all three dice. Your roll represents a number. Shade in a full grid for each dot on your ones die, a row of 10 boxes within a grid for each dot on your 10ths die, and a small box for each dot on your 100ths die. (You can also omit the grid paper and keep score using numbers only.)
END OF THE GAME: The game ends when one player has shaded all 15 grids, or until time is up.
