Some of the materials we will be using this school year, in addition to the school district-supplied texts, come from Developmental Studies Center (Making Meaning, Being a Writer, Caring School Community) and an innovative science/language arts curriculum developed by UC Berkeley called Seeds of Science/Roots of Reading .
